Conditions of Entry
The competition is open to all Australian school students from
Reception to Year 12 (inclusive)
Entries may be submitted in any medium which can be submitted by
email.
A completed Entry Form must accompany each entry. All entries must
include the student's name, age, school year level, teacher's name, name
and address and email address of the school they are attending.
One prize will be awarded for each and every school
year level
- Reception - Yr 4 ………. $20 cash + $30 book voucher
- Yr 5 - Yr 8 …………….. $30 cash + $40 book voucher
- Yr 9 - Yr 12 …………… $50 cash + $50 book voucher
- Schools of winning entries will receive "On a Paper Crane"
teaching kit (story of Sadako)
- The work submitted must be the original work of the student entering
the competition.
- There is NO entry fee to enter this competition
- By entering your work in this competition, you agree to publication,
adaptation and/or other use of your work by the Australian Peace
Committee. However, you maintain the intellectual ownership of your
work.
- The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered
into.
- Entries must be submitted by the class teacher by email on or before
30th September 2003.
- Winners will be announced on 11th November 2003 and the
winners notified.
